Ordinance 925 ORDINANCE NO. 925 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY ADOPTING SECTION 17.16(a) OF THE GILROY CITY CODE SO AS TO PROVIDE FOR TWENTY DAYS VACATION LEAVE AFTER FIFTEEN YEARS CONTINUOUS SERVICE WITH THE CITY. The City Council of the City of Gilroy does ordain as follows: Section I. Article II I, Section 17.16(a) of the Gilroy City Code is adopted to read as follows: Section 17.16(a). Continuous employment for fifteen years. Every fu11time employee who shall have been in the service of the city continuously for fifteen (15) years, shall commence accumulating vacation leave at the rate of 1.67 days per month and be allowed an annual vacation leave of twenty (20) eight (8) hour working days, with pay. Section I I. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section I II. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and approval.
