Ordinance 935 ORDINANCE NO. 935 ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY PREZONING 73 ACRES AS M3, SAID PROPERTY BEING A PART OF A PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF GILROY. WHEREAS, the application has heretofore been made by JAMES ALLAN and SONS, to the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy for the prezoning of 73 acres as M3 (Heavy Industri a1) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the said application, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, and has made its report to the Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the 73 acres hereinafter described be prezoned as M3 (Heavy Industrial) District; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed the 2nd day of August, 1971, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation upon the said application, and notice of the said hearing has been given in accordance with the said Zoning Ordinance, and a public hearing has now been held upon the said application before the Council, and the Council having duly considered the said application and the evidence pres~nted~ and has determined that the said Zoning Ordinance should be amended in accordance with the report of the said Planning Commission, NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section Jr;' The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended by prezoning to become effective upon annexation ORDINANCE NO. 935 and placing in M3 District, as the same is described and defined in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, the following described premises: All that certain real property located in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows: East of Monterey Highway and north of Bo1sa Road shown as parcel 841-31-01 in the Santa Clara County Tax Assessor's Map Book. Section 2: The official map constituting a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy shall be amended to reflect the foregoing changes of classification of the said property.
