ORDINANCE NO. 1001
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY REPEALING
PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE NO. 999 RELATING TO
SALES AND USE TAXES PRIOR TO ITS EFFECTIVE DATE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Sections I and IV of Ordinance No. 999
which would have amended Sections 22.8(a)(1) and 22.9(a) of
the Gilroy City Code on January 1, 1974, are hereby repealed
so that said Sections 22.8(a)(1) and 22.9(a) of said Code shall
remain in full force and effect as they are now written.
Section 2: This tax ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force when passed and adopted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of November, 1973, by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: DeBELL, HUGHAN, PATE, SILVA,
STOUT and GOODRICH
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: DUFFIN
