ORDINANCE NO. 985
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING CHAPTER 6,
ARTICLE III OF THE GILROY CITY CODE RELATING TO FIRE
ZONES
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Section 6.9 of the Gilroy City Code is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 6.9. Generally.
The city is hereby divided into two fire zones
designated as Fire Zone No. 2 and Fire Zone No.3.
The boundaries and description of such fire zones are
as provided in this article.
SECTION II: Section 6.10 of the Gilroy City Code is hereby
repealed.
SECTION III: Section 6.11 of the Gilroy City Code is amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 6.11. Fire Zone No.2.
Fire Zone No. 2 shall comprise all of the territory
in the city now zoned either PO, Cl or C2 District;
also, all territory in the said city, if and when,
zoned in the future as any of said designated zoning
districts shall automatically from the time of the zoning
or rezoning be in and subject to the regulations of Fire
Zone No.2.
SECTION IV: Section 6.12 of the Gilroy City Code is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 6.12. Fire Zone No.3.
Fire Zone No. 3 comprises all that part of the city
not included in Fire Zone No.2.
SECTION V: All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION VI: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
