ORDINANCE NO. 1012
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY REZONING A
PORTION OF THE THREE ACRE PARCEL, MORE OR LESS,
LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF FIRST STREET 700
FEET EAST OF MOREY AVENUE FROM Rl DISTRICT TO
PO DISTRICT AFTER DEVELOPMENT PURSUANT TO SECTION
49 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the application has heretofore been made by
HORACE WILLARD to the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy
for the rezoning from Rl District and placing in Cl District the
premises hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, after duly noticed public hearing before the
Planning Commission and duly noticed public hearing before the
Council of the City of Gilroy on the 5th day of June, 1972, the
Council on said date passed its Resolution No. 1659 granting
Special Zoning Exception pursuant to Section 49 of the Zoning
Ordinance as recommended by the Planning Commission so as to
permit PO (Professional Office) development of the southern two-
thirds of the eastern one-third of the following described pre-
mises, and
WHEREAS, said property has been developed in accordance
with the Application and Section 49 of the Zoning Ordinance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy
is hereby amended by removing from Rl District and placing in
PO District, as the same is described and defined in the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Gilroy the southern two-thirds of the
eastern one-third of the following described premises:
All that certain real property situate in the City
of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of Cali-
fornia, described as follows:
Approximately 700 feet east of Morey Avenue on the
north side of First Street shown as a portion of
Parcel 786-32-47 in tqe Santa Clara County Tax
Assessor's Map Book-tilt.

Section 2: The official map constituting a part of the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy shall be amended to reflect
the foregoing change of classification of the said property.
Section 3: All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and appro-
val.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of March, 1974, by the
following vote:
