ORDINANCE NO. 1028
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTIONS
15.56 and 15.57 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE SO AS TO
PERMIT ANGLE PARKING ON PORTIONS OF EIGLEBERRY AND
MONTEREY STREETS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Sections 15.56 and 15.57 of the Gilroy City Code
are amended to read as follows:
Sec. 15.56. Angle parking--Prohibited.
There shall be no angle parking of any vehicle upon
any of the streets of the city except as provided in
Section 15.57.
Sec. 15.57. Same--Permitted Exceptions.
Parking of vehicles at an angle of forty degrees to
the line of the curb is hereby authorized in spaces SQ
marked on the east side of Eigleberry Street between
Fourth and Seventh Streets, and on the east side of
Monterey Street between Lewis and Sixth Streets.
SECTION II. All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of December, 1974, by the
