Ordinance 1975-01ORDINANCE NO. 75-1
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY ENACTING SECTION
15.55 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE SO AS TO PROHIBIT THE
PARKING OF OTHER THAN MOTOR VEHICLES UPON ANY OF THE
STREETS OF THE CITY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 15.55 of the Gilroy City Code is enacted
to read as follows:
Sec. 15.55 - Parking o__r placing of other than motor
vehicles on streets - Prohibited.
It shall be unlawful to park any vehiclelother than
a motor vehicle in operating condition, ~r to place,
locate or leave any other article or object) on a
public street, highway or alley in the city. Parking
of trailers, semi-trailers, auxiliary dollies, trailer
coaches and other such vehicles shall be permitted only
while such vehicle is attached to a motor vehicle
suitable for drawing it upon the highway.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March , 1975, by
