ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY PREZONING 18.6 ACRES AS M2
(GENERAL INDUSTRIAL), SAID PROPERTY BEING PART OF A
PROPOSED ANNEXATION FILED WITH THE CITY OF GILROY.
WHEREAS, GENTRY INTERNATIONAL, INC. has heretofore filed with
the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy a petition in due form
requesting the prezoning of 18.6 acres as M2 (General Industrial)
and has held the hearing, and has made its report to the Council
of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the 18.6 acres
hereinafter described be prezoned as set forth above; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed the 17th
day of March, 1975, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California,
as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation
upon the said application, and notice of the said hearing has been
given in accordance with the said Zoning Ordinance, and a public
hearing has now been held upon the said application before the
Council, and the Council having duly considered the said application
and the evidence presented, and has determined that the said Zoning
Ordinance should be amended in accordance with the report of the
said Planning Commission,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy is hereby
amended by prezoning to become effective upon annexation and placing
18.6 acres M2 District, as the same is described and defined in
the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, the following described
premises:
Ail that certain real property located in the
County of Santa Clara, State of California,

described as follows:
That 18.6 acre parcel on the south side of
Pacheco Pass Highway, west of Miller Slough,
also shown as Parcel 841-17-004 in the Santa
Clara County Tax Assessor's Map Book~
Section 2:
The official map constituting a part of the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Gilroy shall be amended to reflect the
foregoing changes of classification of the said property.
Section 3: Ail ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its passage and approval, and
upon annexation of said property to the City of Gilroy.
