Ordinance 1975-22 ORDINANCE NO. 75-22
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION
15.49 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE PERTAINING TO ONE-WAY
TRAFFIC
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 15.49 of the Gilroy City Code is amended
to read as follows:
Sec. 15.49. Designation and movement of one-way traffic.
In accordance with the preceding section and when
properly stgnposted, traffic shall move only in the
direction indicated upon the following streets or roadways:
1. On the alleys running north and south between
Monterey Street and Etgleberry Street, only southbound
traffic shall be permitted between First and Second
Streets and between Fourth and Seventh Streets.
2. On the alleys running north and south between the
Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way and Monterey Street,
only snuthbound traffic shall be permitted between Lewis
Street and Hornletn Court.
3. On the northerly branch of Welburn Avenue between
Monterey Street and Church Street, only westbound traffic
shall be permitted.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption and approval.
