AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 978 AND PROVIDING FOR SALARIES
FOR MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I.
SECTION II.
Gilroy City Ordinance No. 978 is hereby repealed.
Members of the Gilroy City Council shall be paid
the following salaries for their services:
(a) Each councilmember shall receive a salary of
$150.00 per month beginning on July 1, 1977 and thereafter.
(b) The Mayor shall receive a salary of $300.00 per
month beginning on July 1, 1977 and thereafter.
