AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22.17 OF THE CITY CODE
OF THE CITY OF GILROY SO AS TO ESTABLISH CAPITAL OUTLAY
RECREATION FUND TAX RATES BY COUNCIL RESOLUTION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION ~. Sec. 22.17 of the Gilroy City Code is amended to
read as follows:
Sec. 22.17 Amount
Every person constructing any dwelling unit in the city
for which a capital outlay recreation fund tax is required
to be paid by section 22.16 shall pay taxes to the city in
such rates and amounts as are established by Council
resolution.
SECTION II. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed. ·
SECTION III. This is a tax ordinance which shall take effect~
immediately upon its passage and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of December, 1977, by the
