ORDINANCE OF THE CIT~ OF GILROY AMENDING THE ZONING
ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY REZONING THE PARCEL AT
7960 PRINCEVALLE STREET from R1 (SINGLE FA~LY
RESIDE[FfIAL) TO C1 (NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT
WHEREAS, application Z 79-18 has heretofore been made by
HENRY KONG to the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy for the
rezoning of the premises hereinafter described from RI to C1
District; and
WHEREAS, the Planningi Commission of the City of Gilroy
has given due notice of a publl~ hearing upon the said application,
in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, has
held the hearing, has approved a Negative Declaration under the
California Environmental Quality Act, has determined that the re-
zoning will not have a significant adverse affect on the environment,
and has made its report to the Council of the City of Gilroy, in
which it recon~nends that the hereinafter described premises be re-
zoned from RI (Single Family ReSidential) District to C1 (Neighbor-
hood Commercial) District; and
%~EREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed the 4th
day of February, 1980, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the Council
Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California,
as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation
upon the said application, and notice of the said hearing has been
given in accordance with the said Zoning Ordinance, and a public
hearing has now been held upon the said application, at the time and
place fixed in the said notice before the Council, and the Council
having duly considered the saidlapplication and the evidence pre-
sented, has approved the Negative Declaration under the California
Environmental Quality Act, and has determined that the said Zoning

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

UNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES
Section 1: The Zonin~ Ordinance of the City of Gilroy
is hereby amended by removing f=om Ri District and placing in C1
District, as the same are described and defined in the Zoning
Ordinance of the City of Gilroy,, the following described premises:
Ail that certain real property situated in
the City of Gilzoy, County of Santa Clara,
State of Califo~nia, described as follows:
The parcel at 7960 Princevalle Street,
identified as Santa Clara County Assessor's
Parcel No. 799-21-009
Section 2: The officiial map constituting a part of the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of ~ilroy shall be amended to reflect
the foregoing changes of classification of the said property.
Section 3: Ail ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4: This ordinance shall take effect and be in
full force thirty (30) days fromiand after its passage and approval.
