Ordinance 1980-17ORDINANCE OF THE CII ZONING ORDINANCE OF 21,3 ACRE PARCEL ADO THE NORTH SIDE OF ME ONE-HALF MILE WEST C E NO. 80-17 Y OF GILROY AMENDING THE SAID CITY BY PREZONING A OINING Tt{E CITY OF GILROY ON CKER PASS HIGHWAY APPROXIMATELY F SANTA TERESA BOULEVARD AS RH (RESIDENTIAL HILLSIDE) DISTRICT. WHEREAS, ERNEST and WILLIAMFILICE have heretofore filed with the Planning Co~iSsion of the City of Gilroy petition Z 80-8 in due form requesting ithe prezoning of a 21.3 acre parcel as RH (Residential Hillside) District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the said application, in accordance with the ZoningiOrdinance of the City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, has approved a Negative Declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act, and has made its report to the Council of the City oflGilroy, in which it recommends that the 21.3 acre parcel hereinafter described be prezoned as set forth above; and WHEREAS, the Counci1 of the City of Gilroy has fixed the 19th day of May, 1980, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.mo, in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation upon the said application, and notice of the said hearing has been given in accordance with the said Zoning Ordi- nance, and a public hearing has now been held upon the said appli- cation before the Council, and the Council having duly considered the said application and the evidence presented, has approved the Negative Declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act, and has determined that the said Zoning Ordinance shOuld be amended in accordance with the report of the said Planning Commission.
