PARCEL ON THE NORTH FEET EAST OF CHESTNU~ COMMERCIAL) DISTRICT RESIDENCE) DISTRICT, W}~REAS, application by KUO HSUAN CHANG, to the PI~ NO. 80-19 OF GILROY AMENDING THE ZONING 'Y BY REZONING AN 0.523 ACRE ',IDE OF EAST 'EIGHTH STREET 200 STREET FROM Cl (NEIGHBORHOOD TO R3 (LOW DENSITY MULTIPLE Z 80-10 has heretofore been made ming Commission of the City of Gilroy for the rezoning of the~premises hereinafter described from Cl to R3 District; and WttEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the said application, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, has approved a Negative Declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act, has determined that the rezoning will not have a significant adverse affect on the environ- ment, and has made its report ~o the Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the hereinafter described premises be rezoned from Cl (Neighborhood Commercial) District to R3 (Low Density Multiple Residence) DiStrict; and WI~REAS, the Counciliof the City of Gilroy has fixed the 2nd day of June, 1980, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation uponlthe said application, and notice of the said hearing has been g~ven in accordance with the said Zoning Ordinance, and a publiclhearing has now been held upon the said application, at the time and place fixed in the said notice before the Council, and! the Council having duly considered the said application and the evidence presented, has approved the ORDINANCE NOs 80-19 -1- Negative Declaration under the Act, and has determined that th amended in accordance With 'the Commis s ion, ]alifornia Environmental Quality e said Zoning Ordinance should be rePort of the said Planning NO~ THEREFORE.,' THE COUNCIL OF TH~I'CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended by removing from CI District and placing in R3 District, as the same are described and defined in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroyl the following described premises: Ail that certain real property situated in .the Citylof Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, described as follows: That 0.523 ~ side of Eig] of Chestnut as Santa Cll Parcel No. ~cre parcel on the North xth Street 200 feet East Street and identified ~ra County Assessor's 341-11-42. Section 2: The official map constituting a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City oflGilroy shall be amended to reflect the foregoing changes of classification of the said property.
