has held the hearing, has approved a Negative Declaration under
California Environmental Quality Act, and has made its report to
the Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that
section 24.9 of the Zoning Ord:Lnance be amended as specified
herein, and

in the City Hall at 7390 Rosanma Street, Gilroy, California, as

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
Section 24i9 of the Zoning Ordinance is hereby
amended to read as follows:
ORDINANCE NO, 80-24 -1-
24,9 DenSitM limitation. The number of
units in a multiple dwelIing or dwelling group
shall not eXcee~ !the number obtained by dividing
the area of the building site by the following:
(1) two thousand (2,000) square
feet of lan~ for each one bedroom unit°
(2) 'two thousand seven hundred (2,700)
square feet of land for each two (2) bedroom
unit,
(3) Thirty-four hundred (3,400) square
feet of land for each three (3) bedroom unit.
