Ordinance 1980-25 ORDINANCE NO. 80-25 ! ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF G~LROY AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID C~T¥ BY REZONING A 6.1 ACRE PARCEL ON THE NORTHEAST'CORNER OF THIRD STREET AND WREN AVENUE FROM R1 (SZNGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) TO R3 PUD (LOW DENSITY MULTIPLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT.i WHEREAS, application Z 80-~1 has heretofore been made by the HOUSING AUTHORITY OF SANTA CLARA COUNTY to the Planning Commission of the City of Gilroy for the r~zoning of the premises hereinafter described from R1 to R3 PUD District; and WHEREAS, the Planning Comm~ssion of the City of Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the said application, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, has approved a Negative Declaration under the California Environmental Quality Act, has ~etermined that the rezoning will not have a significant adverse affect on the environment, and has made its report to the Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the hereinafter described ~remises be rezoned from RI (Single Family Residential) District to !R3 PUD (Low Density Multiple Family Residential Planned Unit Development) District; and WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed the 7th day of July, 1980, at the hour ~f 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall a t 73910 Rosanna Street, Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said report and recommendation upon the said application, and ~ottce of the said hearing has been given in accordance with the saiid Zoning Ordinance, and a public hearing has now been held upon the said iapplication, at the time and place fixed in the said notice and as icontinued before the Council, and the Council having duly considered the said application and the evidence ORDINANCE NO. 80-25 presented, has approved the Ini' tionunder the California Envir~ determined that the said Zoning accordance with the report of ti ~ial Study and the Negative Declara- )nmental Quality Act, and has 0rdinance should be amended in ~e said Planning Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: i Section 1. The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy is hereby amended by removing from R1 District and placing in R3 PUD District, as the same are described and defined in the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroy, the following described premises: Ail that certain real City of Gilroy, Count' of California, descrf The 6.1 acre parcel o' Third Street and Wren Clara County Assessor property situated in the ! of Santa Clara, State ~ed as follows: ~ the northeast corner of Avenue, identified as Santa 's Parcel No. 808-08-003. Section 2: The official map constituting a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Gilroyl shall be amended to reflect the fore- going changes of classificationi of the said property. Section 3: Ail ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4: This ordinancei shall take effect and be in full force thirty (30) days from andi after its passage and approval.
