Ordinance 1982-13ORDINANCE NO. 82-13
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROYAMENDING
SECTION 17.4 OF THE GILROY CITY CODE PERTAINING
TO SICK LEAVE WITH PAY.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Section 17.4 of the Gilroy City Code is
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 17.4 Sick leave with pay - GenerallM.
Each city employee, not including extra
help, is entitled to one day of sick leave with
pay for each calendar month worked on the submission
of satisfactory proof to the department head of
the necessity for sick leave. For any absence
an employee may be required to submit a doctor's
certificate showing the need for the sick leave.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption
and approval.
