AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ENACTING CHAPTER 14A OF TILE GILROY
CITY CODE PROVIDING FOR MOSQUITO
ABATEMENT
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Department
of Public Health has requested enactment of a mosquito
abatement ordinance so that an effective program can be
coordinated between incorporated and unincorporated areas,
and good cause appearing therefore,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Chapter 14A of the Gilroy City
Code is enacted to read as follows:
CHAPTER 14A
MOSQUITO ABATEMENT
Sec° 14A.1. Mosquito Abatement
Chapter VIII (cormmencing with Section Bll-
200) of Division Bll of the Santa Clara County
Ordinance Code, as it now exists or may hereafter
be amended, relating to mosquito abatement shall
apply in the City of Gilroy.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption
and approval.
