Ordinance 1984-20ORDINANCE NO. 84-20
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY
ENACTING SECTION 21.109 AND 21.110
OF THE GILROY CITY CODE PERTAINING TO
SUBDIVISION LOT MERGERS AND REVERSION
TO ACREAGE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Sections 21.109 and 21.110 of the
Gilroy City Code are enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 21.109 Lot Merger
The city engineer may, upon request of the
owner, file with the county recorder a certificate
of compliance merging contiguous parcels under
common ownership without reverting to acreage.
Sec. 21.110 Reversion to Acreage
A parcel map may be filed for the purpose
of reverting to acreage land previously
subdivided and consisting of four or less
contiguous parcels under the same ownership.
Any map so submitted shall be accompanied by
evidence of title and nonuse or lack of necessity
of any streets or easements which are to be
vacated or abandoned. Any streets or easements
to be left in effect after the reversion shall
be adequately delineated on the map.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect
and be in full force thirty (30) days from and after its
adoption and approval.
