Ordinance 1986-21 ORDINANCE NO. 86-21
ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING
THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID CITY BY
PREZONING APPROXIMATELY 47.35 ACRES ADJOINING
THE CITY OF GILROY NORTH OF LAS ANIMAS AVENUE,
EAST OF US 101 AND SOUTH OF COHANSEY AVENUE
AS PF-PUD (PARK/PUBLIC FACILITY-PLANNED UNIT
DEVELOPMENT) DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, SOUTH VALLEY INTERCOM}CONITY HOSPITAL
has heretofore filed with the Planning Commission of the
City of Gilroy a petition in due form requesting the
prezoning of approximately 47.35 acres as PF (Park/Public
Facility-Planned Unit Development) District; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of
Gilroy has given due notice of a public hearing upon the
said application, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Gilroy, has held the hearing, has previously
approved an Environmental Impact Report under the California's
Environmental Quality Act, and has made its report to the
Council of the City of Gilroy, in which it recommends that the
47.35 acres hereinafter described be prezoned as set forth above;
and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Gilroy has fixed
the 27th day of October 1986, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m.
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall at 7351 Rosanna Street,
Gilroy, California, as the time and place for hearing the said
report and recommendation upon the said application, and notice
of the said hearing has been given in accordance with the said
Zoning Ordinance, and a public hearing has now been held upon
the said application before the Council, and the Council having
duly considered the said application and the evidence presented,

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of November 1986
by the following vote:

I, SUSANNE E. STEINMETZ, City Clerk of the City of Gilroy, do
hereby certify that the attached Ordinance No. 86-21 is an original
ordinance, duly adopted by the Council of the City of Gilroy at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 17th day of November ,
19 86 , at which meeting a quorum was present.
