AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY PROHIBITING
THE PARKING OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES HAVING A
MANUFACTURER'S GROSS VEHICLE ~EIGHT RATING OF
10,000 POUNDS OR MORE IN RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. Pursuant to Vehicle Code section 22507.5,
Section 15.68 of the Gilroy City Code is enacted to read as
follows:
Sec. 15.68 Parking commercial Vehicl'es over 10,000
p'o~nds 'in residential 'areas pr-~ibited.
No person shall park or stand on any street, or portion
thereof, in a residential district any commercial vehicle
having a manufacturer's gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000
pounds or more.
SECTION II. Ail other ordinances and parts of ordinances
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in full force thirty (30) days from and after its adoption
and approval.
