AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GILROY AMENDING THE TITLE AND
CERTAIN SECTIONS OF ARTICLE X OF THE GILROY CITY CODE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY DOES ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The title of Article X of the Gilroy City
Code is hereby amended to read as follows:
DEPARTMENT OF
MANAGEMENT.
HUMAN RESOURCES AND RISK
SECTION II. Section 2.54 of the Gilroy City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
The department of ~ human resources and risk
management is hereby created.
SECTION III. Section 2.55 of the Gilroy City Code is
hereby amended to read as follows:
Director of ~ human resources-risk
manager--Appointment.
The director of ~~e°~--human resources-risk manager
shall be the head of the department of ~h~s~a~--human
resources and risk management and shall be appointed by
the city administrator with the consent of the council.
SECTION IV. The following portion of Section 2.56 of
the Gilroy City Code is hereby amended as follows, but Section 2.56
remains unchanged and in full force and effect in all other
respects:

shall be responsible for and required to:
