ORDINANCE NO. 95 -16
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF GILROY AMENDING SECTION 9.3(C) OF THE
GILROY MUNICIPAL CODE TO CHANGE THE TITLES OF
DESIGNATED DISASTER COUNCIL MEMBERS
WHEREAS, the City of Gilroy has reorganized its internal
organization; and
WHEREAS, in pertinant part, this reorganization caused
the Director of Public Works to be newly designated the "Community
Development Director" and further caused the Director of Parks and
Recreation to be newly designated the "Community Services Direc-
tor;" and
WHEREAS, these changes supersede the designated member-
ship of the Gilroy Disaster Council as is stated in Section 9.3(c)
of the Gilroy Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Gilroy wants to
modify Section 9.3(c) to reflect these changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GILROY

SECTION I
Section 9.3(c) of the Gilroy Municipal Code shall be
deleted and replaced with amended language which shall read as
follows:
(c) The Chief of Police, the Community Development Director,
the Fire Chief, the Community Services Director and the
Assistant Director of Emergency Services.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
thirty days from and after its adoption and approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1995 by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: GILROY, MORALES, ROGERS, ROWLINSON,
VALDEZ and GAGE.
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEMBERS: KLOECKER
