Board of Trustees of the Town of Gilroy
held December 29th 1868
The Board met pursuant
to adjournment
The Roll was called
and the following officers/members were
present J Oldham Wm Hanna J Reither
J Eustein and D Heuber
The minutes of a meeting
held on December 14th and December 28th
were read and approved
A dispatch was
received from WH Hall ordering a
House to be built in Gilroy at the expense
of the county.
On motion the President of
the Board was authorized to obtain a suitable
location to build the said House

and also was authorized to employ
Thomas Oldham to purchase lumber and
other materials necessary to build said
House and the same
On motion fifty-Dollars ($50) were
ordered to be paid to Wm on the
($96.00) Ninety-six Dollar Bill out of the
Road fund the balance out of the
General fund.
On motion
was authorized to build the fence on
Second Street from Monterey to the west
line of Mrs. Martha Holloway's land
On motion the Board adjourned.
