The re~lar adjoul'ued meeting of' the Common Council of'
- April 3rd, 1922, was called to orcter by His Honor l1.layor Jas.
Princevalle.
Present, Councilmen Chesbro, I,ester, Drown, Martin, Schemel;
Absent, Councilmen Wm. Radtlre.
The main issue of' the meeting was the adoption of' the necessary
resolution calling for the regular'}funicipal election.
By motion ot C. C. Lester seconded by Chas. W. Schemel, the

eleotion be held in ttle City of Gilroy, County or Santa Clara,
State or Cali:fornia, ror the purpose of' electing the f'ollowing
City of'ficers for the City of Gilroy, viz:
Mayor; Six COlUlcilmen; Treasurer; City Clerk; Marshal.
For said election two precincts are hereby establish~d and
the bounuaries thereof', polling places and Boards of' Election

The City Attorney presented lease from the City or Gilroy to

Ay,reement with Nettie Turner ror water service outside the
City limits was presented and deemed satisfactory.
Matter of plaeing certain overflow pipes at reservoir referred
to the Wate~ Committee with power to act.
Proposals rar rurnishing wire fenc~ ta be erected around
reservoir were presented by Hartin Hardware Co. ancl Hohinson Helw. CQ
The matter of' f'encc at rcserToir referred to the Water Comr.1ittee,
with power to act.
Bills were presented as follows:
