The minutes or the meetings or June 5th, amd June 22nd were
read and ordered approved.
Hesignation or Mrs. :,Iay narshinger as Member or Library Board
presenteel but no action at this meeting.
The Park Commission rendered report as to cOIlcli tiOIlS at the
Park ancI the matter of lights at the Park ref'erreel to the Light-
ing Committee with power to act.
Heal th Or:ficer. J. W. Thayer appeared l)erore the Council in
rererence to a continuation of' the sewer system down Dowdy street.
~onthly reports or Idcense Collector and City Clerk were read
and. by Hotion of' Schemel, seconded and carried orderecl accepteel
and placed on rile.
.Matter of' putting up signs at reservoir and dam was ref'erred
to the Water COIIIDli ttee.
Matter of' Bond of' Nat~onal Ice and Cold storage plant rererr-
ed to the City Attorney.
'fhe Librariants yearly report was presented all(1 by motion of'
Uecker secomlecl anc.l cfrriecl saMe was accepte(l and orflcred placed
on :file.
The City Attorney was instructed to take up t11e Matter of'
:franchise with the Coast Counties Gas and Electric Co.
The regular monthly bills were then read amI hy motion or
Schemel seconded by Chesbro and carrie..:l were allowed and warrants
