Aug. 22nd, 1922 was called to order by His Honor Mayor PJ"incevalle.
Present Councilmen Drown, Hadtke, Hecker, Schemel;
Absent Councilmen Chesbro, IJester.
Motion by Sch~mel seconded and carried that the bids ror
rurnishing cauIJeing lead. and. oakmn be opened.
There were bids from the firms, viz: G.A.Cha~pell & Co.,
James Muckle, Hobinson I-Iadw. Co.
Bid or G.A.Chappell & Co.~ 7500=#: Caulking Jlead at $7.00
per 100 pounds or 7500# Pig IJeac1 in 100# Pigs at $6.60 per 100
pounds, and 150=/1: rope oakum at 10 1/2~ per pOlmd or 150# Plumbers

It appearing that Hobinson lIdw. Co. made the hest lJicl on motion
of Schemel seconded and carried said firm was awarded the contract
for supplying the goods and cash and certified check were ordered
returned to the unsuccessful bidders.
A small mUllber of bills were then read aml hy Motion of Schemel
seconde{l by Hecker were ordered allowed ancl warrants clrawn.
Amount of warrants allowed, General Fund, $50.10; Sewer Dept.
Imp. #1, $R4.25; Water !)ept. IMp. Fund 4f1, $n5.10. Total warrants
issued, $229.60.
Hotion by Schemel seconded and caf'ried: That we adjourn as a
Connnon Council and re convene as a Board f'or the'equalization
of' taxes.
No complaints were
entered at this session of the Board.
