Gilroy, Calif., Sept. 5th, 1922.
The final session of the Board of Equalization was called
to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Priricevalle.
Present Councilmen Chesbro, Ilester, Brown, Hecker, Schemel;
Absent Counc:llman Uadtke..
Keith Lodge Company entered a protest against v~luation
placed on their new building, and by motion of Chesbro, seconded
and carried the valuation was ordered reduced from $56,550.00
to $50,000.00.
At the session of the Committee on August 29th, Wm. Radtke
presented figures sho~ng cost of construction of the new buildings
in rear of Garden City Bank as $10,000.00 in place of *l~,OOo.no
as shown on building permit and the assessed valuation was ordered
reduced from $8,300.00 to $6,500.00.
Geo. Milias and Son presented petioion asking that taxes on
their new hotel building be eliminated for the years of 1922 and
1923 and by motion of Hecker, seconded and carried that the
valuation or $104,000.00 on new hotel building be stricken
:from the roll.

There being no further complaints regarding rixed valuations,
by motion or Schemel, seconded and carried, it was ordered: That
we adjourn as a Board of Equalization

The regular monthly meeting or the Common Council was called
to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Princevalle.
Present Councilmen Chesbro, Lester, Brown, Hecker, Schemel;
Absent Councilman Radtke.
The Clerk was instructed to address a letter to Chas. E.
Sloane requesteng him to come down and inspect the automatic
weir as it was not considered to be working properly, also that
he come in person as there were other matters which the Conncil
desired to take up with him.
There being no rurther business an adjournment was taken

until Wednesday evening, Sept. 6th, at 8 0 clock, p.m. to
complete the business o:f the re~ular session.
