Minutes 1922/09/07 79 Gilroy, Cali~., ge~t. 7th, 1922. The regular adjourned meeting or the Common Councilor Sept. 6th, 1922, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Princevalle. Present Councilmen Chesbro, Brown Radtke, Schemel; Absent Councilmen IJester, Hecker. The Committee on computing tax rate ror the years 1922 and 1923 presented its report and recommended a rate or $1.00 on each $100.00 or assessed valuation. By motion of Chesbro, seconded and carried, it was ordered: That the report or the Committee on computing tax rate be accepted and the tax rate ror the year 1922 and 1923 be $1.00 on each $100.00 or assessed valuation. The monthly reports or the Marshal and License collector and City Clerk were presented and by motion or Schemel seconded and carried ordered accepted and placed on rile. By motion or Schemel seconded and carried certiried check or Robinson Hardware Co. which accompanied bid ror rurnisH~ ing oakum etc. was ordered returned. W. F. Blake presented resignation as member or the Library Board. 1-/ By motion of Schemel seconded anli carried resignetion or W. F. Blake was accepted. The Mayor appointed Mrs. ~Iabel Schemel and Mrs. Edna TJord on IJi brary Board in place or Mrs. May Barshinger and W. F. Blake. By motion or Chesbro, seconded and carried: The appoint- ments to the Library Board as made by the Ma~or are hereby confirmed. by Brown Motion by Schemel seconded",and carried, it was ordered that bill or Hobinson Hardware Co. for rurnishing water pipe be. allowed and warrant ordered drawn. The regular monthly bills were then read and by motion of , Radtke seconded by Schemel and ca~ried ordered allowed and WlILrrants drawn. Amount of warrants allowed, $2545.67 General Fund; $600.00, Fire Dept. Imp. Fund No.2; R349.35, Water Works Imp. Fund No.3, $31.58; Sewer Dept. Imp.
