Minutes 1922/10/02 so Gilroy, Calir., Oct. 2nd, 1089. The regular monthly meeti.n~ of the Common Council was call- ed to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Princevalle. Present Councilmen Chesbro, lladtke, Hecker, Schemel; Absent Councilman Brown. The minutes of meetings or Sept. 6th, and Sept. 7th. were re at! and or(lered approved. City Health Officer, J.W.Thayer, was present and described his visit to the meeting of the IJeague of California )Iunici pali ties at Palo Alto. The ~organ lUll Fire Dept. sent communication thanJrin~ the City for the use of hose at their recent fire. Reports of Marshal and Clerk and quarterly reports of ClerIc and Treasurer were read and by motion of Hecker, seconded and carried ordered placed on file. Communications from }~. H. Rea an(l Chas. E. Sloane regarding a ram to be placed above the Uvas dam by Thos. Rell were presented. By motion or Chas. W. Schemel, seconded by Gerald Heclter, the following res~olution was adopted:- ImSOLUTION. ,. BJ~ IT RI~SOLVEO, That the agreement describell amI fully set forth in the Hesolution allopyert a.ml passe(l by the }'Iayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy at a meeting held on the 7tl, day of June, 1922, be modified so as to permit a head or two feet on the dam which Minnie A. Kell and Thomas P. Rell are permitted to construct by the terms of said agreement to furnish water for 81 .. their ram, and also modified so that repairs made by eitber party to said agreement to thier res~cctive dams and pipes upon giving to the other party a one day notice thereof, and the Mayor and City Clerk are here~y authorized and directed, on behalf of the City or Gilroy, to execute said agreement fully described in the Hesolution of June 7th, 1922, with the mollifications herein set forth.
