'fhe regular adjourne(l meeting of the Conunon Councilor Sept.
11th, 1924, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Prince-
Talle.
Present Councilmen C. E. Fredrickson, Wm. Radtke, Gerald
Hecker, C. W. Schemel; Absent Councilmen C. H. Pierce, R.
Brem, Sr.
The mayor announced that this was the date ror openin~ bids
ror eonstructin~ the Porest street bridge.
Four bids were presented, and by motion or Sohemel seoonded
by Fredrickson, it was order~d: That the bids be opened.
The bids were as rollows: C. A. Palmer & H. A. Gurries,
$ 5500., West Coast Construction Co. ,$7992., Herschbach Be
Sciarrino, $ 5500., Wm. Martin, $ 4660. and each bid was ae-
companied by a certified check in the sum of 10 per cent. of
the amount of bid.
By motion or HecJ<er, seconllell by Hadtke anll carried.: The
contract was awarded to Wm. ~[artin, the lowest bidder.
