The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was
calle~ to order.by His Honor Mayor Jas. Princevalle.
Present Councilmen C. H. Pierce, R. Brem, Sr., C. E.
Fredrickson, Wm. Hadtke, Gerald Hecker; Absent Councilmen, None.
The minutes of meetin~ of June 1st were read and ordered
approved.
Reports of Marshal, City Clerk and Water Collector and
quarterly reports of Treasurer and Clerk, yearly report of the
Li brarian were read anel by motion of Pierce, secOlldell by Uadtke
or(lerecl accepteli and place~l on file.

Lo*is S. Osbourne made application for apnointment as
traffic officer and his appointment to said position was con-
firmed.
W. S. and Emma McCreight presented bill of $ 500; for

dwnage to trees caused by the burning of grass along road-way.
It was agreell that the Mayor and Council to~ther with
the neputy Horticultural Commissioner survey the trees.
The regular bills werexthen read and by motion of Heeker
seconcled an,l carrie'l or,.ierell all()wecl and warrants ordered drawn.
