rickson, Wm. Radtke, Gerald Hecker, Elmer J. Chesbro.
The minutes of meetings of Aug. 1rd, Au~. 17, AUR. 24. Au~.
31st and Sept. Rth were read and ordered approved.

Communication presenteel by the League or California Munici-
palities and ordere~ filed.
Petition signed by property owners was presented requesting
action in t:'1e ma.tter of t~le use of' the Whitehurst & IJollt!I1S lot
for cirGuses and the assemblin~ of horses and other animals.
Said petition was referrell to the Orrlinanoe Committee.
The Committee on computinp.: tax rate presented its report,
and by motion of Chesbro seeoncled by Frellricksnn amI carrie,l that
the Committees be acceptecl except as referred to the Idbrary
",hieh per cent. is herel>y reclucel from .123 to .111, and that
the tax rate for IH25 anfl 1926 be $ 1.20 on each $ 100. of"
assessed Taluation.
That the said rate be apportioned as fol-
