On account of the absence o~ the Mayor the regular ad-

journed meeting o~, the Con.Ullolf Council o~ July 6th, was call-
ed to order by the Clerk.
Uotion by E. Martin Johnson, duly seconded and carried
that Elmer J. Chesbro be appointed President i-po-tem :for the
meeting.
Present Councilmen Chas. H. Pierce, E. Martin Johnson,
C. E. Fre(lriclcson, Jerome Chappell, Elmer J. Chesbro; .Absent
Councilman Gerald lIecker.

a short statement relative to certain resolutions wldch he :.L ;-
intended to introduce.

WILEllEAS, on July 10,1922, Mr. Charles E. Sloan addressed
a letter to the 11ayor and COllllllon Council relative to the con-
struction of a sewage Disposal Plant for this city, and since
said date has SUbl~ ttell certain reports, plans and estimates_,:
and
WHEREAS, said plans llTere to receive the approval of the
state Board o~ Health bef'ore being submitted to the Common
Council, and
WIIEnEAS, none ot! said plans have received the approval o~
the state Board or Health, and the same are not satis:factory
