The regular adjourned meeting of' the Common Council was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. Princevalle. Present Councilmen Chas. H. Pierce, E. Martin Johnson, C. E. Fredrickson, Jerome Chappell, Gerald Hecker, Elmer J. Chesbro; Absent Councilmen, Bone. Motion by E. Martin Johnson, seconded by C. E. Fredrick- SGB and carried: That Gerald Hecker act as Clerk Pro-tem. By motion of E. Martin Johnson, seconded by C. E. Fredrickson the following resolution was adopted: "Resolved by the City Council of' the City of Gilroy, that pursuant and subject to all the te~s, conditions and provisions of' the Public Health Act of the state of Califor- nia, approved March ~3, 1907, and all amendments thereto, application by this City be made to the state Board of' Health of the state of' Calif'ornia, for a permit to extend sewer system of' Gilroy, southerly about 10,000f1'eet and up- on a 200 acre f'ield owned by said City of Gilroy, install a sewage disposal plant, upon the separate sludge disposal plan, consisting of a elarifying tank and digester.
