Present Councilmen E. :!I1artin Johnson, C. E. Fredrickson,
Jerome Chappell, Elmer J. Chesbro; Absent Councilmen Chas. H.
PiEr'ce, Gerald Hecker.
The minutes of meetings of July 5th and August 1st were read
and ordered approved.
Reports presented as rollows:
Marshal's License report,
Police Judge, City.Clerk and Water Collector, and by motion of'
Fredrickson, seconded by Chappell and carried ordered accepted
and placed on file.
Special reports from the City Engineer realtive to work done
by contractors were presented.
Pacif'ic states Telephone Co. asked per~mission to chanGe cer-
tain poles on snake alley, which matter was referred to the City
Attorney.
The City Assessor presented the aSSeSSTIlent book f'or the years
1927-1n~~8, and by motion of' Chappell, seconded by Johnson the
Clerk was instructed to advertise the meetings of the Board of'
Equalization ror the dates, viz: August 17th, August 24th and
August 31st, 1927.
The Street Connnittee was authorized to look af'ter the matter
of water W"aGon and report its find-tngs.
The reGular monthly bills were read and by motion of' Fred-
rickson, seconded by Chappell and carried were allowed and war-
rants ordered dra\'m.
Amount of warrants allO\fed $ 2524.48 on the General Fund,
$ 9537.51 on the Sewage Disposal Imp. Fund of 1927; Total war-
rants $ 12,062.99.
