Minutes 1927/10/03 322 Gilroy, Calir., Oct. 3rd, 1927. The regular monthly meeting of' the COI1]1110n Council was call- ed to order by His Honor l.layor Jas. Princevalle. Present COLlncilmen Chas. II. Pierce, E. Martin Johnson, C. E. Fredrickson, Jerome Chappell, Elmer J. CheslJro; man Gerald lIecker. The minutes of' Doarcl of Equalization meeting also the regular monthly meeting of' Sept. 6th were read and ordered approved. Reports presented as follows: License Collector, Police Judge, City Clerk and Water Collector, also quarterly reports of' Treasurer amI Clerk, and by motion or Chesbro, seconded by Chappell and carried same were accepted and orclered placed on f'ile. Absent Council- Motion by C. E. Fredrickson, seconded by E. Hartin Johnson and carried: That permit be ~ranted to ll. Darshin[;el' & Son to erect a chapel on the North-West corner of' Eigleberry and Fourth stree ts. Hatter of' roadway at Atkinson's new lumber yard was dis- cussed. Motion by Chesbro seconded by Fredrickson and carried: That the Superintendent of' Public Works be instructed to put in 50 f'eet of' 10" corrugated iron culvert at the Atkinson place on North Monterey street. Chairman of' strEJct Department Committee rlas instructed to mal{e arrangements f'or trillmdng limbs f'rOlll trees on sidewalks. Pierce and carried: That. the city allow f,; 25.00 per month toward another helath nurse and af'ter this month the Hest Hoon and Health Center be located in the City Hall ancl that the nurse be under the supervision of' the IIealth Of Ticer and the City Board of' Health. Hatter of' Firemen's banfluet was ref'erred to the Fire Dept. Committee The regular monthly bills were read and by motion of Fred- rickson, seconded by JolUlson and carried ordered allowed and warrants ordered drawn. Amount of' Warrants allowed Q 2,994.52 on the General Fund, $ 187.34 on the Sewage Disposal ImP, Fund of 1927; Total War- rants (!> 3. 1"'" <)G ? , u"'.'" .
