Absent Councilmen E. Martin Johnson, Elmer J.
Chesbro.
The minutes or meetings of April 2nd, April 4th, April 17
th, April 27th and May 2nd were uead and ordered approved.
Officers reports presente4 as follows:

report, Police Judge, City Clerk and Water Collector, and by mo-
tion or Gerald Hecker, seconded by Jerome Chappell and carried
the same were ordered accepted and placed on rile.
The Clerk read the result or the vote for the candidates for
City Orficers as rendered by the Boards of Election in the First
and Second Precincts at the Municipal Election held in the City
of Gilroy on May 7th, 1928.
Motion by C. E. Fredrickson, seconded by Gerald Hecker that
Resolution on oanvass of votes cast at the Municipal Election on
May 7th, 1928, be passed and adopted as follows:
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Common Gouncil of the Oity or Gilroy
have oanvassed the vote Bast at the Xunioipal Election held in the

City or Gilroy, on the seventh day of may, 1928,
NOW, THEREFORE, as a result or said canvass the Mayor and
Common Council find that ror the following named offic~s the per-
sons whose names ~ppear below received the nU~n1ber of votes set op-

Motion by Chappell, seconded by Hecker and carried; That the
members of the boards of election be allowed $ 6.00 each for ser-
vioes rendered.
The regular monthly bills were then read and by motion of Heck-
er, seconded by Chappell and carried were allowed and warrants or-
dered drawn.
