The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas. princevalle. Present Councilmen Fitzgerald, Clark, Hollister, Chesbro; Absent Councilmen Johnson, Fredrickson. The minutes of meetings of June 4th, June 6th and June 12th were read and ordered approved. Communications presented relative to Assembly Bill No. 7 and itemized bill from Chas. E. Sloan. Motion by Walter G. Fitzgerald seconded by John A. Clark and carried that permission be granted Councilman Chas. E. Fredrickson to be absent from the State for a period of ninety days. Monthly reports' of License Collector, Police Judge, Water Collector, City Clerk, Librarian's yearly report," and quarterly reports of Treasurer And Clerk were presented and by motion of Elmer J. Chesbro seconded by Irvin Hollister ordered accepted and placed on file. Itemized claim of Chas. E. Sloan on sewer matter was refer- red to the City Attorney. Motion by Walter G. Fitzgerald seconded by Elmer J. Ches- bro and carried: That the Clerk be authorized to write to 371 Layne and Bowler Pump Co. that the City will settle its bill for $ 65.00 as agreed. Theo. Weldon asked for a leave of absence for two weeks which said request was granted. The regular monthly bills were then read and by motion of Irvin Hollister, seconded by Walter G.
