The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Councilor
July 19th, 1928, was called to order by His Honor Mayor Jas.

Present Councilmen Walter G. Fitzgerald, E. Martin John-
son, John A. Clark, Irvin Hollister;
Absent Councilmen C.
E. Fredrickson, Elmer J. Chesbro.
The Mayor announced that this was the date for opening
the bids for furnishing water pipe.

The Clerk stated that four bids had been presented.

Motion by Hollister seconded by Fitzgerald that bids for fur-

nishing pipe be opened.
Motion by Johnson, seconded by Clark that the Council
adopt a-inch pipe with the exception of 350 feet of 6-inch.
Motion by Johnson seconded and carried that the order for
furnishing 2475 feet of 8-inch be awarded to C. G. Claussen
& Co.

for 350 feet of 6-inch pipe be awarded to C. G. Claussen &
Co.
For further reference all four of said bids are now on file
in the office of the City Clerk.
Motion by Clark, seconded by Hollister and carried:
That
certified checks be returned to the unsuccessful bidders.

That lead, valves and oakum be purchased from the Waterworks
Supply Company of San Francisco.
Motion by Johnson, seconded by Clark and carried: That
bills of Byers Bro' s _. and Chas. W. Tharp be allowed and war-
rants ordered drawn.
