Present Councilmen Walter G. Fitzgerald,'C. E. Fredrickson, IrYin Hollister, Elmer J. Chesbro; Absent Councilmen E. Martin Johnson, John A. Clark. The minutes or meetings or Feb. 4th and Feb. 27th were read and ordered approved. Orricers repo~ts presented as rollowss License COllector, Police JUdge, City Clerk, Water Collector and by motion or Fredrickson seconded by Hollister and carried ordered accepted aDd placed on rile. Petition ror paving alleyway on West side or Monterey street between Fourth aDd Sixtb streets presented and by motion or Ches- bro, seconded by Hollister ~as rererred to the street Committee. By motion or Fitzgerald, seconded by Chesbro and carried the street Committee and City Engineer were directed to check up on the paving petitions and report back to the Council. BUilding petition or J. J. Cook to build two garages was rerer- red to the Fire Department Committee. Motion by Fitzgerald, duly seconded and carried"s That DO concessions be permitted to any person East or the Railroad tracks during the I. D. E. ~. celebration during the month or Yay. The matter or leveling land at the sewer rarm was lert in the hands or the Sewer Department Committee.
