Present Councilmen Fredrickson, Easton, Rush, Heck; Absent Councilmen Lawton, Boock. _ R.e:::.> 0 f /A r 10 Y'/ '=P=- .3 J- f1 By motion of Fredrickson, seconded by Easton the follow- ing Resolution was ordered passed and adopted; BE IT RESOLVED, that on Monday, the 2nd day of rVf..ay, 1932, an e~ection will be held in the City of Gilroy, County of Santa Clara, State of California, for the purpose of electing the following City Officers for the City of ..Gil- roy, viz: Mayor, Six Councilmen; Treas~rer; City Clerk; l~rsha~; For said election two precincts are hereby established and the boundaries therof, polling places and Boards of election are as follows: FIRST PHECINCT: All that portion of the City of Gil- roy included within the boundaries of Gilroy Precinct No. I and Gilroy Precinct No. 2 as established by the Boa~d of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State of Califor- nia. For the purpose of this election said Gilroy Precinct no. 1 and Gilroy Precinct no. 2 are hereby combined and for the purpose of said municipal election shall be known as First Precinct. . Polling Place; Municipal Fire House on Fifth Street. Board of Election; Inspector, D. B. Parks; Judges Jos. Princevalle and Samuel HQoper; Clerks, Rose Chabot and Elizabeth Edwards and Nora Carl. SECOND PRECINCT: All that portion of the City of 2r)"" t~) of Gilroy included within the bmundaries of Gilroy Pre- cinct NO.3, Gilroy Precinct No. 4 and Gilroy Precinct No. 5 of the City of Gilroy as established by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara, State of Cali fornia. For the purpose of this election said Gilroy Precinct NO.3, Gilroy Precinct No.4 and Gil- roy Precinct No. 5 are hereby combined and for the pur- pose of said Municipal Election shall be known as Second Precinct. Polling Place; City Hall on Sixth Street. Board of Election: Inspector, Robt. Fredrickson; Judges, "\'1. R. Pyle and Clara Gingg; Clerks, Lois Young and Nina Avery and Josephine Jones. The polls will be open at six o~clock A. M. of the day of election and remain open until seven o'clock, P.M. of the same day when the polls will be closed except as provided in Section 1164 of the Political code of the state of California. In all other respects the said election will be held in accordance with the general election laws of the State of California. The Clerk of the City of Gilroy will cause the necessary proclamation to be published. Vote, Ayes, Councilmen Chas. E. Fredrickson, Geo. Easton, J. H. Rush, S. D.
