Gilroy. Calif. May 3rd 1932.
The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was
called to order by His Honor Mayor James Princevalle.
Present: Councilman Easton, ~ush, Boock, Heck.
Absent : Councilman Fredrickson, Lawton.
The minutes of April 4th 1932, were read and ordered
approved.
IJonthly reports of Officers were presented and by motion
of S. D. Heck, duly seconded and carried ordered accepted and
placed on file.
1btion by Easton, seconded by Boock and carried: that 90 days
extension of time for completion of contract be granted to the
Union Paving Company.

Motion by Boock, seconded by Easton and carried:- tgat P.R.
Colson, City Treasurer be granted permission to leave the State
for a period of thirty days.
Motion by Geo. Easton, seconded by S. D. Heck that we
proceed to canvas the vote cast at the 1mnicipal election.
The Clerk proceeded to read the result of the vote cast at

the municipal election as presented by the Board of Election.
Motion by S. D. Heck seconded by Fred C. Boock that the
following resolution be passed and adopted:-
VJHEREAS, the r.:ayor and Common Council of the City of Gilroy
has canvassed the Tote cast at the municipal election held in the
City of Gilroy on the second day of 1~y, 1932.
NOVi, THEREFORE, as a result of such canvass the LTayor and
Common Council find that for the following named offices the
persons whose names appear below received the nurnber of votes
set opposite their respective names, nrunely :

Motion by Easton seconded by Boock and carried that the

The regular monthly bills were read and by motion of
Geo. Easto~, seconded by S. D. Heck allowed and warrants

ordered drawn.

The Clerk was instructed to send notices to connect with
the Sewer to property ovmers not already connected and owning
places on Alexander Street.
