The regular adjourned meeting of the lfayor and Common
Council of July 5th 1932 was called to order by His Honor
1~yor Elmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councilman Geo. Easton, J. H. Rush, Fred C. Boock,
s. D. Heck, George C. Milias Jr, Geo. A. Wentz.
Absent.
Councilman None.
Motion by G,o. A. Wentz, seconded and carried: that bids
for. boring well be opened and the same were as follows ;~
Wilkinson & Chappell $3150.00 John L. Smith $3046. 00,
A. p. Garcia $3972. 00, E. J. Mattocks, $3470. 00, Harold E.

Barton $3146. 00 H. M. Keisler $3360. 00.
Motion by Wentz, seconded and carried that bid for boring
well be awarded to Wilkinson & Chappell for $3150. 00 and all

other bids be rejected.
Motion by Easton seconded and carried that checks and
bonds be returned to unsuccessful bidders.
Motion by Geo. A. Wentz, seconded by Fred C. Boock and
carried: that a 90 day extension of time be granted to Union
Paving Company for completion of paving contract on North
Monterey Street.
