Gilroy, Calif., Sept. 16, 1932.
The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council of
Sept. 12th, 1932, was called to order by His Honor Mayor

Present Councilmen Easto, Rush, Boock, Milias, Wentz;
Absent Councilman Heck.
The Clerk reported that two bids had been presented for
purchase of Waterworks Imp. Bonds of 1931.
The two bids presented were as follows:
Smith, Camp
and Riley and L. W. Wheeler and by motion of Wentz second-
ed by Boock were ordered opened.
Smith, Camp and Riley bid par and $ 51.50 premium, L.
W. Wheeler par, $ 250.00 premium and the accrued interest.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Boock and carried that bid
of L. W. Wheeler be accepted.
Motion by Wentz, seconded by Rush and carried that certi-
fied check be returned to the unsuccessful bidder.
Motion by Easton, seconded by Wentz and carried that
bids for furnishing gasoline be opened.
Motion by Rush seconded by Alilias and carried that the
contract for ~rnishing gasoline be awarded to the Sea-
side Oil Company.

The various bids are now on file in
E. S. Valentino made application for license for sale
of wine and beer provided the present laws are changed.
Motion by Wentz secOnded by Easton and carried That ap-
plication of E. S. Valentino be placed on file.
Motion by Easton seconded by Wentz and carried that
Chappell & Sons and Wilkinson Company be paid the amount
of their bill for boring well, viz:
$ 4080.25.
l&itter of building trestle on line from the reser-
voir was left with the Water Department Committee.
