The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was
called to order by His Honor l~yor Elmer J. Chesbro.
Present Councilmen, Geo. Easton, J. H. Rush, Geo. C.
Milias, Jr., Fred C. Boock, S. D. Heck, Geo. A. Wentz; Rbsent,
Councilmen, None.
The Minutes of meetings of Oct. ~, Oct 12th and Oct. 16th

were r~ad and ordered approved.

Baywood Farm Dairy presented application to sell milk in
the City and the same was laid on the table until the inspec-
tor comes dovm.
Representatives from various outside firms appeared be-
fore the Council relative to the tax for delivering merchandise
by motor vehicle. No action was taken,
Motion by Wentz seconded by Milias that Ordinance Number
386 be passed and adopted after having been read and re-read
by title as follows:
An Ordinance amending Section 310 of Article II, Chap-
ter II, Part III, of the Municipal Code of the Oity of Gil-

roy, by adding thereto a new sub-division to be known as Sub-
.......
division 28 b, relative to the license to be charged for op-
erating any rnotor driven vehicle for the purpose of distribu-
ting at wholesale or retail merchandise within the City of
Gilroy and repealing Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con-
flict herewith.
Vote; Ayes Counctlmen Fred C. Boock, Geo. C. Milias, Jr.,
Geo. Easton, Geo. A. Wentz, J. R. Rush, S. D. Heck;
Noes,
Councilmen, None; Absent Councilmen, None.
Monthly reports of officers were read and ordered placed
on file.
The Monthly bills were pnesented and by motion of Wentz,
Seconded by Easton ordered allowed and warrants ordered
