The regular adjourned meeting of the Common Council was call-

l,:otion by Easton seconded by Boock that bid of Layne-
Bowler Co. for furnishing pump be opened.
Motion by Wentz, seconded by Rush and carrievd: That
we accept the bid of Layne-Bowler Company for furnishing
pump.
Liotion by Easton seconded by ."entz and carried that
first certified check presentee; by Lay-ne-Bowler Co. and that
of the Byron-Jackson Go. be ordered returnee.
l.Jatter of pUlll}) building left with the ,'!ater Committee
with power to act.
Motion by Wentz, secondet by Rush and carried that the
City contibute ',) 25.00 per month for a period 01' six months
to the Corm~unity Chest.
Beer,and wine petitions presented by Angelo Mainero,
John Bacha and ~)am Zancovich and Fred Hea were read and by motion
of Wentz seconded by Boock and carriec ordered placed on
file.
;3y motion of l~aston seconded by Boock and carried bill
of Vicente Cantua was allowed and warrant ordered drawn.
By motion of Rush seconded by Easton Ordimance No.
388 was passed and adopted after having been read and re-read
by title as follows:
An Ordinance regulating the hours of
business vlhen and the place of business where, uncured::,nd
cooked meats are sold, offered for sale received or delivered,
unci prescribing a penalty for the violation thereof.
