The regular monthly meeting of the Common Council was
called to order by His Honor Mayor Elmer J. Chesbro.

The Minutes of meetings of Jan. 3rd and Jan. 6th were read
and ordered approved.
A repreEentative of the Pu~ity S~ore appeared before the
Council regarding the Ordinance regulating the distributing of
handbills.
It was directed that the Chamber of Commerce be
requested to ascertain the opinion of.the various merchants of
the town regarding said Ordinance.
Three new petitions for Liquor licenses Numbers 14, 15 and
16 were read and by motion of Wentz duly seconded and carried
ordered p1aoed on file.
The regular monthly reports including that of Dr. C. M.
Burchfiel ere read and by motion of Wentz seconded by Easton
ordered placed on file.
The matter 0' certain bequests to the City was left with
the Buildings and Grounds Committee.
The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion
of Wentz seconded by Mi1ias and carried ordered allowed and
warrants drawn.
