Gilroy, Cal., Mar. 6, 1933.
The regular monthly meeting of the Common iounoil was
called to order by His Honor Mayor Elmer J. Ches_ro.
Present Councilmen Easton, Boook, Rush, Wentz, Heok,
M1lias; Absent Counoilmen, None.
The Minutes o~ meetings of Feb. 6thand Feb. 23rd were
, read and ordered approved.
The Marsha1 was instruoted to notify the Manager of
the Strand Theatre to remove the notices that he had taoked to
the light and telephone poles and also to investigate the re-
modeling of the old Harrison building on North Monterey street.
Report of Dr. C. M. Burchfiel and also the regular
monthly reports of offioers were read and by motion of Wentz
seconded by Rush ordered placed on file.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Easton and carried that
the policy ooverin, contingent liability be ordered renewed on
Maroh 22nd.
Motion by Wentz seconded by Boock and carried: That the

Mayor be authorized to sign the lighting contract as prepared
by the lighting Committee and the Coast Counties gas & Elec. Co.
The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion
of Milias seconded by Boook ordered allowed and warrants drawn.
Amount of warrants allowed $ 2566.09 General Fund.
