Minutes 1933/04/04 2~l-1 Gilroy, Calif., Apr. 4, 1933. The afternoon session of the regular monthly meeting of the Common Counoil was called to order by His Honor I'~yor ~lmer J. Chesbro. Present Councilmen Geo. Easton, J. H. Rush, Fred C. Boock, S. D. Heck, Geo. C. Milias, Jr., Geo. A. Wentz; Absent Councilmen, None. Motion by J. H. Rush, seconded by Fred C. Boock that Ordinance No. 392 be passed and adopted after having been ~ead by title as follows:- An Ordinance regulating and lioensing the manufaoture and sale of Sub-alcoholio beverages in the City of Gilroy. Vote, Ayes Councilmen J. H. Rush, Geo. EastoB, S. D. Heck, Geo. C. Milias, Jr., Fred C. Boock; Noes, Councilmen, Geo. A. Wentz; Absent, Councimen, None. Adjourned. t; J. rf(~>>J2. City Cle(j. Rush, Fred C. Boock. s. D. Heck, Geo. C. Milias, Jr. ; Absent Councilman Geo. A. Wentz. The minutes of meetings of March 6th, March 20, Maroh 31, and April 3rd were read and ordered approved. K Communication from A. W. Chesbro relative to the signs of 242 the California State Automobile Association was read. LoU - ~~ Motion by Milias seconded by Boock that the City take steps to have the State Automobile Association's name erased from the traffic signs. Report of C. M. Burchfiel, monthly reports of City of- co ~ Q ficers and Quarterly reports of Treasurer and Clerk were read and ordered placed on file. The regular monthly bills were presented and by motion of Easton seconded by Boock and carried ordered allowed and warrants drawn. Amount of warrants allowed $ 2404.99 on the General Fund. The Mayor appointed Geo. Easton, Geo. a. Wentz and Geo. C. Milias, Jr. with the City Attorney to prepare res6- lutions of respect to the memory of Miohael Casey.
